“Online Marketing For Dummies” is Where You Start a Big Journey to Success

There are many challenges that most small brick and mortar shops face when transitioning to the web. Most of the time, even if they can figure out a decent web design the Internet marketing part is way over their heads. Plus small companies rarely have sufficient budgets for online marketing and can’t really afford professional help with the strategy and planning. Chicago SEO agencies for instance will charge you an arm and a leg for even the smallest thing in online marketing.

Therefore a lot of small business owners have to do their internet marketing themselves. It’s hard but those who have the nerve and persistence always succeed at the end. The learning curve is big, so the newcomers are basically thrown into a universe of informational chaos (this is what it seems in the beginning) which they need to distill to pure marketing knowledge and skill honed for their specific business.

When it comes to that, there is nothing more helpful than the famous “For Dummies” series. I was surprised to have learned that very few people are turning to this incredibly useful literature when they are making their first steps in Online marketing. Most people just plunge themselves into the abbeys of the blogosphere, forums, etc and soon drop back OD’ed on the information they find there.

The “For Dummies” series is the kind of literature that most of us have been familiar with since school years. The most important thing that information there it’s properly structured and organized, it gives a complete overview of the topic and just enough info about each element. It also provides links and resources for further reading so you could get to the next level.

I strongly recommend Internet marketing for Dummies for all who wants to get familiar with Internet marketing and get the basic knowledge that they can later use for the benefit of their online business.
